Three Charter Amendents are on the DC Ballot did you know?

So voters in the District of Columbia have three charter amendment that are on the ballet and we want to make sure that everyone knows about them and should vote on them if you feel that DC needs to clean up it's act.

 PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENT V SHORT TITLE “Charter Amendment: Expulsion for Gross Misconduct, D.C. Council” SUMMARY STATEMENT This Charter Amendment, if passed, would permit the Council to adopt a resolution to expel a Councilmember upon a 5/6 vote of its members upon demonstrating that Councilmember’s gross failure to meet the highest standards of conduct and upon establishing procedures for the expulsion of a Councilmember.

PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENT VI SHORT TITLE “Charter Amendment: Disqualification from Office for Felony Conviction, D.C. Council” SUMMARY STATEMENT This Charter Amendment, if passed, would make anyone who is convicted of a felony while holding the office of Councilmember ineligible to remain in office and ineligible to ever hold the office again.

PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENT VII SHORT TITLE “Charter Amendment: Disqualification from Office for Felony Conviction, Mayor” SUMMARY STATEMENT This Charter Amendment, if passed, would make anyone who is convicted of a felony while holding the office of Mayor ineligible to remain in office and ineligible to ever hold the office again.
